In my memory, Los Angeles is always a bright place. Blue sky with barely any clouds, sunlight too lit so that you can raise your head unless you have a pair of sunglasses, green palm trees occasionally blocks some sunlight on your way, and people with their own colorful styles... However, in Franck Bohbot's photographs, everything is more smooth. We can't feel that too much brightness in those low contrast photographs. And thus we get the vintage vibe of 80s and 90s from his pieces.
